Our mentors and guides are Swami Sarvadevanandaji (Vedanta Society of Southern California) and Swami Ishatmanandaji (Vedanta Society of Chicago). The Swamis frequently attend our study circles and help us with our questions and confusions.

Swami Sarvadevananda, a monk of the Ramakrishna Order of India, is the minister and spiritual leader of the Vedanta Society of Southern California. Swami was initiated by Swami Shankarananda, the 7th President of the Order, in 1961, and joined the monastery at Belur Math, near Kolkata, in 1965. In addition to regular lectures and classes, Swami Sarvadevananda addresses schools, colleges, and religious groups throughout Southern California and other parts of the United States .

Swami Ishatmananda, a monk of the Ramakrishna Mission, is a spiritual leader and the president of Vivekananda Vedanta Society of Chicago.  The 10th President of the Order, Srimat Swami Vireshwaranandaji Maharaj blessed him by initiation. Swami ji is a driving force for many educational and organizational activities. In Dec 2014, Swami ji was appointed the Religious Adviser at the University of Chicago. Swami ji’s inspiring and unrelenting efforts led to the establishment of Home of Harmony temple in Chicago in May, 2022.
